The Pit
Even when you’re deep in the pit, when life feels heavy and hopeless, don’t forget to look up. The light is still there, even if the shadows try to hide it.
What feels like being buried might actually be a season of being planted. Seeds are covered in darkness, but they are not forgotten. They are nurtured in hidden places so that in due time, they can break through the soil and reach toward the sun.
God does some of His most transformative work in the soil of struggle. Keep your eyes lifted and watch your roots get stronger. The pit is not your prison, but rather, it is your preparation.
“I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1–2)
