I shall go to Him
This time of year can be difficult, especially if you have lost a loved one. When we walk through the valley of grief, the weight of loss can feel impossible to carry. Yet, even in our deepest sorrow, Scripture offers a gentle reminder of hope for us cling to.
“I shall go to Him, but He shall not return to me.” (2 Samuel 12)
In those few simple words we hear a powerful truth, death is not the end. Though our loved ones cannot return to us in this life, there will come a day when we are reunited with them in the presence of the Lord. Our separation is temporary, but God’s promise is eternal.
If you are grieving today, may you feel the comfort of knowing your loved one is held safely in God’s arms. May you also find peace in knowing, that one day, all the tears will be wiped away.
