Father’s Day Reflection
Today, I celebrate the incredible gift of a father’s love. One that reflects guidance and quiet sacrifice. The kind of love that builds you up and holds you steady, even when life feels uncertain.
“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” (Proverbs 20:7)
This verse reminds me of my dad. A man who provided love for his wife and 15 children. Our humble upbringing taught me to value the simple things in life and shaped the foundation of who I am. Though he’s no longer here, his presence still echoes in the lessons he taught and the way he loved so deeply without needing many words.
Father’s Day feels different without him. There’s a space that no one else can fill, a quiet ache in the moments I wish I could share with him. But even in that space, there’s gratitude. Gratitude for the time I had and the memories that still remain.
To all the fathers out there, your love matters more than you may know. And to those missing their dads today, I see you. You’re not alone in that grief, and the way you love, continues to honor their legacy.
Happy Father’s Day.
